The late Sir Ken Robinson often lamented that curiosity and creativity were undervalued in Western Culture, especially in our educational systems. Perhaps that's why as I explore homes with, and on behalf of my clients, I am most drawn to the ones that create spaces that encourage creativity.

A Success Story
For the past 2+ years, I’ve been building a national referral network so that I can refer you to pre-vetted, high-performing realtors across the country. Here’s a story that explains why:
The Problem:
Some friends had listed their beautiful 5-bedroom St Louis home last July. But after 5 months of sporadic showings and a few price reductions, it still hadn’t sold. Clearly frustrated, they asked for advice. I introduced them to one of my Compass associates for a 2nd opinion.
The Solution:
After a brief consultation, my associate Katie Dooley Curran diagnosed the challenge and offered a new strategy that involved refreshing the home with painting, making minor repairs, fresh staging in a monochromatic manner and a new marketing focus. The results were immediate (especially dramatic because it all occurred during the snowy, winter season): entering escrow after 30 days on market and a smooth closing 4 weeks later.
