Well, here we are. The second week of November and as the song goes, "Where has the time all gone to? Haven't done half the things we want to. Oh well, we'll catch up some other time."
I wanted to let you know how grateful I am to have you in my life. Hope you'll take a look.
"Where's the market heading?
I get that question a lot - especially with all the headlines screaming doom and gloom AND buy, buy, buy/sell, sell, sell!!!The thing about trying to time the market is there are always going to be 100 reasons not to act, which is cool as long as those reasons have been thought out in advance and you're following through on your plan.
So if I were advising you I'd say, "clarify your goals, understand the opportunities, define the roadmap and have your team put the plan in motion." That's the key to success in any market. And the best part, it doesn’t cost you anything but a bit of time and energy.
My LA: Pacific Palisades
Beautiful scenery, a charming downtown, frequent neighborhood-sponsored events that foster a true feeling of community, these are the things that make the Palisades one of LA’s best-kept secrets. While it offers the ocean views, beach access, and impressive outdoor opportunities of neighboring Santa Monica and Malibu, it retains a small-town charm, even with the new Caruso Village.
When you're next considering where you want to live, I recommend you put the Palisades at the top of your list. In the below video. I highlight some of my favorite places.
What’s Cool in LA? The Skirball Cultural Center
If you haven’t visited recently, now is your chance because, remarkably, the Skirball is hosting a multi-sensory event celebrating A Festival of Light, the coffee table book that my cousin Josh Freeman and I have just had published.
If you believe that shared human values keep us connected, then you won't want to miss this. Learn more and purchase tickets at the link below.
I hope you will join us at this incredible event on December 2nd!
OMG! Mind Blown Again!
Obviously, the de-mixing technology that Giles Martin and Peter Jackson’s WingNut team employ opens up the mix to new wonders (you forget how guitar heavy the Beatles music was). But what really strikes me is the complex subject matter that they are exploring here: taxes, isolation, mindfulness, insecurity, broken dreams and of course drugs, lots and lots of drugs.
If you haven’t yet had a chance to listen to Revolver in its entirety, you can do that here. It’s well worth your time.
